Coroner's Officials Confirm Actor Lee Thompson Young Committed Suicide
NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Actor Lee Thompson Young committed suicide by shooting himself, coroner's officials confirmed Tuesday.
The 29-year-old was found dead around 8 a.m. Monday after police were called to his apartment in the 5000 block of Tujunga Avenue in North Hollywood on a welfare check.
Young had failed to show up for work on the set of TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles."
The actor is best known for his role on the Disney Channel's "The Famous Jett Jackson."
