WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters battled a one-acre brush fire Monday in a hillside in Woodland Hills.

The blaze broke out close to homes near Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive at 4:36 p.m.

Both Los Angeles county and city fire departments, along with their water-dropping helicopters, responded to the scene and extinguished the fire in less than an hour.

Topanga Canyon at Mulholland was closed in both directions during the firefight, reported Sky2’s Stu Mundel.

No structures were damaged. No injuries were reported.
