Police Searching For Clues In 3 Burglaries At Same Torrance Drug Store

TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for burglarizing the same Torrance drug store three times in the past two months.

Fox Drugs Store has been the scene of three commercial burglaries on June 15, July 9 and August 9. In each incident, the suspect or suspects smashed the front window in order to gain entry to the pharmacy area and steal narcotics.

In the Aug. 9 burglary, surveillance cameras captured footage of a tall male with a thin build dressed in a dark hooded sweatshirt and pants attempting to pry open the store's locked door. In the June and July burglaries, the suspect or suspects fled the scene without detection.
