5 Accused Of Abducting Teen From Compton Allegedly For Prostitution

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Five people were arrested in Moreno Valley on suspicion of abducting a teenager from Compton allegedly for prostitution.

The suspects were taken into custody at a hotel in the 24800 block of Elder Avenue on Friday afternoon.

A statement issued on the Riverside County Sheriff's Department website says an 18-year-old victim from Compton told authorities she was kidnapped at gunpoint the previous day by four men and a woman who were armed.

"Further investigation revealed that following the abduction the suspects drove the victim to an undisclosed location where she was sexually assaulted by two of the five suspects," the statement indicated. "The victim was then told they were going to force her to conduct prostitution for money."

Authorities said the suspects rented the hotel room in the city of Moreno Valley but became distracted before the alleged prostitution could take place.

That's when the victim got away and got ahold of police.

Two of the suspects were identified by authorities as 25-year-old Ibrahim Binhajjyahyaabdulmalik and 20-year-old Ana Ceja, both of San Jose. The other three suspects, residents of Gilroy, were identified as 23-year-old Khalid Binhajjyahyaabdulmalik; 32-year-old Abubakr Horrington, and 21-year-old Jerry Landers.

Authorities said they face several charges, which include but weren't limited to, sexual assault, human trafficking, and abduction for prostitution.
