Man, 37, Killed In Crenshaw Hit-And-Run Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday were searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in the Crenshaw District.

The accident happened around 1 a.m. in the 4700 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

According to authorities, a 37-year-old man was fatally struck by a champagne or gold-colored Land Rover Discovery SUV. The unidentified victim was not in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The 1999 to 2002 model vehicle sustained front left side damage in the crash.
