Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Aug. 8)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The trough that continues to meander through the Pacific Northwest is helping to encourage the strong on-shore flow once again today.

Temperatures will be on par with Wednesday maybe a touch cooler in some spots.  The marine layer should be just a bit thicker.

We will have hazy sunshine for the afternoon and it should be a decent day.  The below average conditions will last through the weekend with a gradual warming trend beginning next week.

By the end of next week we will return to normal, if not a bit above normal conditions.

Basin - mid 70s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - mid 80s

Mountains - upper 60s to low 70s

Deserts - mid 80s
