Glitch Strands Several Guests On Transformers Ride At Universal Studios
UNIVERSAL CITY (CBSLA.com) — Several guests Monday were stranded on a ride at Universal Studios.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a call around 9:10 a.m. in the 3900 block of Lankershim Boulevard.
One of the cars on the Transformers Ride encountered a technical malfunction and became stuck, according to the park.
Universal staff safely evacuated fewer than 10 people who were on the ride by 10:40 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The ride, which opened in 2012, underwent a routine inspection and was expected to be open the rest of the day.
