Josh Rubenstein’s Weather Forecast (Aug. 5)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The on-shore flow continues and that means the same pattern of clouds in the morning and sunshine for the afternoon.

A trough positioned in the Pacific Northwest continues to encourage the unseasonably cool weather.  It will slowly push east and drop south through this work week.

The placement of this weather feature will keep us below average through Friday.

There will be some slight warming over the next weekend as high pressure begins to build back in.  However, we are going to stay below average for the long range right now.  So enjoy the pleasant un-summer like weather.

Basin – mid to upper 70s

Beaches – low to mid 70s

Valleys – low 90s

Mountains – mid 70s

Deserts – mid 90s
