Obama To Arrive In LA Tuesday For 'Tonight Show' Appearance

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — President Obama is expected to arrive in the Southland on Tuesday for a two-day visit to the West Coast.

Air Force One will touchdown in Los Angeles by afternoon on Aug. 6, for the President's appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

The visit to the Burbank lot where the show tapes will mark Obama's sixth, and his third appearance as President, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Obama will spend the night in Los Angeles for other unspecified stops before traveling to Camp Pendleton on Wednesday.

There, the President will deliver remarks to military troops in Camp Pendleton and also will visit with military families.

Other details surrounding the President's visit were not immediately disclosed.
