Actor Josh Blacker Discusses Sci-Fi Film 'Elysium'

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Actor Josh Blacker discussed his new movie "Elysium" on KCAL9 News on Sunday morning.

Directed by Neill Blomkamp, the science fiction film is set in the year 2154 and explores two classes of people: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station named Elysium and the rest who reside on Earth.

Blacker plays a South African mercenary hired to defend and protect Elysium.

Matt Damon and Jodie Foster also star in "Elysium," which hits theaters on Aug. 9.
