34 Patients Treated During Music Festival In LA's Chinatown District
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Dozens attending an electronic music dance festival in Los Angeles' historic Chinatown District required medical attention on Saturday evening.
Katherine Main, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department, says most of the illness and/or injuries were handled in medical tents on festival grounds.

"The event staff treated a total of 34 patients and one was transported by a private ambulance as well," Main told KNX 1070.
That individual, identified as a 21-year-old male, was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center about 10:30 p.m. in "grave condition," according to Main.
She said the man was found "unresponsive" inside of the venue by a team of veteran Los Angeles paramedics. His current condition was not known.
The event marked the first night of the two-day sold-out "Hard Summer 2013" in LA's State Historic Park.
The festival continues Sunday from noon through midnight, followed by an after-party at the Exchange, a nearby nightclub in downtown Los Angeles.
