2 Workers Rescued After Elevator Basket Malfunctions In Glendora

GLENDORA (CBSLA.com)  — Two workers were stranded 130 feet above ground for more than an hour Thursday evening after their elevator basket malfunctioned.

The men were working on a sign at Glendora Auto Center, located at Lone Hill Avenue and Gladstone Street in Glendora, when they became stranded around 9:45 p.m.

Firefighters dispatched to the scene were able to bring the men to safety after deploying a large ladder.

The men were both brought to the ground just after 11 p.m., according to authorities.
