Burbank Man Missing For 12th Day

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A 24-year-old Burbank man has been missing for more than ten days and his family is becoming increasingly frantic.

The family of Gevork Boyadzhyan says it is completely out of character for him not to be in touch with his loved ones.

They also said he has not been despondent.

Burbank Police is investigating and said there is no evidence of foul play.

The man's sister wrote on Facebook, "We have tried everything we can to find him, we have absolutely no leads. At this point, we are out of ideas and desperately need help. I am personally pleading, anyone who might have any information to please let us know."

She added that her brother left his house between 7 and 7:30 p.m. last Saturday July 20. The missing man's sister said he texted a friend around 8:30 p.m. but when the friend called him back by 9:30 p.m., Boyadzhyan's phone was off and has been off ever since.

The family had tried finding him via paper trail.

"We have checked his credit card and bank statements and there have not been any transactions since even before he disappeared. He has not used any of his email accounts, he has not logged into Facebook, he has not sent any messages," his sister wrote.

Boyadzhyan has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He drives a white Lexus.

If you have seen him, you are asked to call the Burbank Police Department at (818) 238-3140.

The family has also set up a Facebook page -- "Missing: Help US FIND Gevork Boyadzhyan."
