LA Coroner Seeks Public's Help To Identify Jane Doe

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The LA County Coroner's Office is asking the public to help them identify a Jane Doe who was found dead in April.

The body of the woman -- believed to be between 21-40 years old -- was discovered April 2 in a San Gabriel riverbed, about 150 yards north of the Whittier Narrows Dam in the city of South El Monte.

The woman had brown hair. The color of her eyes could not be determined.

She was found along with a gray messenger bag containing two body sprays. A gray hoodie was also found near the body.

At the time of her death, Jane Doe was wearing blue jeans (size 16P) and gray size 10 tennis shoes.

Doe has one tattoo -- a rising sun with two mushrooms.
