STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We are stuck in a rut once again folks, but I’ll take this rut.

Don’t expect dramatic changes this week as we are looking at pretty consistent weather.

Low clouds in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon.  We are looking at daytime highs running just below average in the basin to near normal in our valleys.  That’s making for some comfortable weather…especially for the valleys.

You can expect the same pattern to persist through the rest of the week. Look for a marine layer that breaks up for hazy sunshine in our afternoons.

We may get some gusty winds in the desert and mountains and we will keep our eyes out for advisories.  Right now the monsoonal flow is squarely over the four corner states and there is some indication it might sneak over into the far eastern portion of our viewing area some time early next week.

Basin -upper 70s

Beaches – low 70s

Valleys – low 90s

Mountains – mid 70s

Deserts – mid to upper 90s
