Man, 18, Allegedly Breaks Into Eastvale Home, Attempts To Sexually Assault Resident

EASTVALE (CBSLA.com) — An 18-year-old man faces charges Tuesday after being arrested for breaking into an Eastvale home with the intent to sexually assault a resident.

Isaac Jenkins was arrested around 3 a.m. Monday at a home in the 7400 block of Carrollton Avenue after authorities responded to a burglary-in-progress call, Eastvale police said.

"The residents were awoken to find an intruder inside their residence who attempted to sexually assault a family member, " officials said.

The residents detained Jenkins until officers arrived and took him into custody.

Jenkins was booked for burglary with the intent to commit a sexual assault and first degree burglary. He was being held on $55,000 bail.
