BUENA PARK (CBSLA.com) — Fire crews were on scene to perform a technical rescue at an Orange County water park, authorities said Monday.

Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded to a call around 1:45 p.m. that a 12-year-old boy was injured at a ride at Knott's Soak City in Buena Park, according to officials.

Crews used an emergency life-saving device to rescue the boy, who was stuck under a metal partition on one of the rides at the water park.
