An officer was driving westbound on Ocean near the criminal courts building when she "noticed her driver side window break," Police Sgt. Aaron Eaton said.

"She did not hear anything or see anything," Eaton said.

The officer pulled around the corner upon noticing the broken window. She was not injured.

A section of westbound Ocean Boulevard was closed between Magnolia and Chestnut avenues while police conducted an investigation. Police sniper officers were also seen positioned above the scene.

Anyone with information on the incident was asked to contact the Long Beach Police Department at (562) 570-7260.
