Small Brush Fire Contained Along 5 Freeway In Sylmar

SYLMAR (CBSLA.com) — A small brush fire broke out Tuesday along the 5 Freeway in Sylmar.

The flames erupted around 4 p.m. near the I-5 and Roxford Street.

About 100 firefighters, along with helicopter crews, helped contain the roughly four-acre blaze in more than an hour.

County fire hand crews helped with the subsequent mop-up operation.
