SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Three Simi Valley men have been arrested for conspiring to sell the painkiller Oxycodone, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said Friday.

Authorities said a two-week investigation by the Ventura County Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit confirmed that Gary Thompson, 46, William Payne, 32, and 27-year-old Ivan Sauer were actively involved in the sale of the drug.

A search of their residences reportedly yielded evidence relating to sale of the prescription medication, as well as weapons, apparent steroids and human growth hormone.

All three men are being held at the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
