Anaheim Police Seek Public's Help In Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Police Thursday were asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at an Orange County bank.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. Monday at a Bank of America branch located at 1818 S. Euclid Street in Anaheim.
The suspect allegedly approached a teller's window and demanded money after indicting he had a bomb, police said.
"He did produce a suspicious looking device, the teller believe it's s a bomb. She hands him an undisclosed amount of cash, at which time the suspect flees the bank, gets back on the bicycle that was parked in the bicycle rack and rides away," Sgt. Bob Dunn told KNX1070's Mike Landa.

When officers arrived on scene they evacuated several businesses in the area.
The Orange County Bomb Squad rendered the item safe, calling it a realistic "hoax" device around 7:45 p.m.
The suspect, who is believed to be in his mid-30s, is described as a Hispanic or Middle Eastern man. He's five feet nine inches tall and weighs between 160 and 170 pounds. He has a thin build and pockmarks on his face.
He was last seen wearing a black hat, dark t-shirt and shorts.
