On a particularly hot summer day, what could be better than spending some time with the family at one of the best water parks in the state? Imagine the fun you’ll have cruising down the water slides, riding the waves and relaxing the rivers. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a sunny day with your closest friends and family. So grab your bathing suit, your sunscreen, a couple towels and some flip flops and head down to Raging Waters in San Dimas for a fun-filled day of water, rides and plenty of splashing.
Raging Waters has three locations in California, but the San Dimas location is just outside of Los Angeles, making it a perfect destination for a short drive. You’ll love any of the numerous water slides, as you try them all to determine just which is your favorite. The Bermuda Triangle slide is always a popular choice, with three different tunnels that twist and turn. Or check out the Drop Out for a seven-story drop, which just happens to be one of the tallest vertical drops in the country. Be sure not to miss the Tunnel of Terror for a 40-foot drop and back-to-back vertical banks in total darkness.
When you’ve tried out all the slides, the fun doesn’t end there. Spend some time at the Amazon Adventure for a lazy relaxing coast around an endless waterway. Or test your skills at the Lily Pads for the ultimate water-based obstacle course. Of course no water park would be complete without a great wave pool, and Wave Cove is sure to produce plenty of great waves for you to enjoy.
You don’t have to leave the little kids at home either, as there are tons of great rides for the youngest of water-fans. The Little Dipper is a fun area with many miniature slides, waterfalls, fountains and wading pools. Or check out the Kid’s Kingdom for a huge water-based playground complete with tubes, tunnels and slides all with lots of waterfalls.
A day at Raging Waters is the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine as a family. Make sure to arrive there in your 2013 GL550 SUV from Mercedes-Benz of Encino. It’s the perfect way to arrive at the water park, as you’ll have plenty of room for all the kids plus everyone’s gear. And once you’ll all had an exhausting day of fun, you’ll be happy to pile into this super comfortable SUV for the drive home.
