STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Eat some barbeque for a good cause!

Alex Benes, the Executive Chef at Wood Ranch, and Trevi Fountain from Free Arts for Abused Children stopped by KCAL9 Monday to tell viewers about this year's Smoke & Saddles BBQ Festival!

The festival, taking place Aug. 10 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., will include several local restaurants serving full portions of barbeque to guests.

The participating restaurants include: Hugo's Restaurant, Tifa Chocolate, The Latigo Kid, Numero Uno Pizza, Blue Table and Carrera Pastries.

The event benefits Free Arts for Abused Children, which inspires hope in the lives of those who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness through innovative creative arts programs and positive interactions with caring adult volunteers.
