Search Continues For Driver In Deadly Case Of Alleged Road Rage

ARLETA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday continued to search for the person responsible in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man in an alleged road rage attack in Arleta.

The car-to-car shooting happened after 3 p.m. Saturday on Bransford Avenue.

Los Angeles police Lt. Kamran Khan told KNX 1070 that authorities were able to locate surveillance footage that captures both the suspect's and victim's vehicles shortly before the shooting.

Search On For Suspect In Alleged Road Rage Shooting

The suspect was described by witnesses as Hispanic male with green eyes. His vehicle was described as a gray Challenger.

"We hope the image might prompt someone to recognize the car and tie it to the owner," Lt. Paul Vernon, commanding officer of the Mission Detective Division, said.

Two passengers in the victim's red Kia escaped injury.
