Corona Man, 29, Killed Outside Perris Home By Shotgun Blast

PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a 29-year-old Corona man was shot to death Saturday outside a Perris home.

Michael James Brown was killed by a shotgun blast around 11:35 p.m., according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Buompensiero.

The victim was found outside a home in the 1900 block of Murrieta Road.

Deputies called to the scene said they found the victim on the front yard of a residence.

Brown was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center. He died about an hour after sheriff's deputies were called, the sergeant said.

No arrests have been made, Buompensiero said.
