2-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Yorba Linda Pool

YORBA LINDA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday said a toddler accidentally drowned in the backyard pool of a Yorba Linda home.

Deputies were dispatched to the home on Blue Gum Drive where at least 100 people had been gathered for a party on Saturday evening.

Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Colin Murphy said the child had been discovered in the pool by a partygoer. He was found unconscious, according to Lt. Jeff Hallock of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
