JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Saturday continued to investigate the death of a man whose body was found inside a car in Jurupa Valley.

Officers responded to the area of Rubidoux Boulevard Friday evening following a call of “shots fired” and a simultaneous report of a single-vehicle crash.

Upon arriving on scene, officers located a green mini-van with multiple bullet holes. Police say the car had also crashed into the side of the road.

The victim inside the vehicle was identified as a Hispanic male. His name has not been released.

Anyone with more information about this case is asked to call Investigator Harvey of the Central Homicide Unit at (951)-955-2777 or Investigator Pabelico of the Jurupa Valley Police Department.
