Hollywood's Best Fireworks Show Happening In Studio City
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Hollywood's best Fourth of July fireworks show is happening over the hill, at the 15th annual Fireworks Festival in Studio City's CBS Radford Lot.
Dance to live music, take in a car show from the Television and Motion Picture Car Club and hang out with pirates and mermaids from Studio City tattoo at this longtime Valley event that will end with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. CBS2/KCAL9 Meteorologist Josh Rubenstein will serve as emcee for the event.
The event will also feature live entertainment from Catch a Wave, a Beach Boys tribute band, and the Black Sheep Squadron will perform a show with their model airplanes. Children will enjoy the fun zone and magic tricks from world-class magicians, and everyone will love the food from All-American Smokehouse BBQ.
A variety of food will be available for purchase at the event, but families are also invited to bring a picnic onto the lot. Alcohol is prohibited from being brought onto the lot, but it can be purchased at the event.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. General admission is $20 per adult, and $10 for children 12 and under. Children 5 and under are free. A wristband for rooftop viewing of the fireworks show is an extra $20.
The event will also include a VIP Room in an air-conditioned soundstage, a meal, alcoholic tastings, live music, special parking and access to the rooftop viewing of the fireworks show. For children, the VIP room includes pictures, face painting, spray-on tattoos, caricatures, a manicure station and balloon animals. VIP tickets are $100 per adult, $50 for children ages 6 to 12 and $15 for children 3 to 5.
