ATLANTA (CBSLA/AP) –The Miami heat have acquired Long Beach swingman James Ennis after he was selected by Atlanta Hawks with the 50th overall pick in the NBA draft.

The NBA approved the trade minutes after the was selected by the Hawks.

Ennis, last season’s Big West Conference player of the year, averaged 16.5 points and 6.7 rebounds in his senior season at Long Beach State.
