1 Hurt In Deputy-Involved Shooting Near Palmdale
PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — A person has been shot in a deputy-involved shooting in the Palmdale area , authorities said Thursday.
The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. in the 36600 block of 117th Street East north of Pearblossom Highway in the unincorporated area of Littlerock, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies.
No deputies were injured in the shooting, Sheriff's officials said.
The suspect was hurt, but there was no immediate information on the injury.
Los Angeles County Fire personnel did respond to the report, but no transports were made, according to fire officials.
There was no confirmation on whether the shooting was related to a double shooting in Littlerock earlier Thursday that left one man dead and one woman injured.
