Paparazzo Sues Justin Bieber For Alleged Assault

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A paparazzo filed a lawsuit against Justin Bieber Wednesday, claiming the singer assaulted him last year at a shopping mall in Southern California.

Jose Duran said he was taking pictures of Bieber and then-girlfriend Selena Gomez at The Commons at Calabasas when the 19-year-old became frustrated because he couldn't drive out of the parking lot.

Duran claims the pop star kicked him in the stomach and punched him in the face.

"Justin Bieber jumped out of the (vehicle) he was driving. He kicked me, punched me and pushed me against a car," said Duran.

The suit doesn't specify how much Duran wants in damages for the reported incident.

So far, Bieber's representatives have not responded to the allegations.
