LASD Detectives Investigating Fatal Shooting Of 2 Men In Lancaster

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — Officials Monday were investigating the fatal shooting of two men in Lancaster.

Los Angeles Sheriff’s detectives responded to a shooting which happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday in the 44000 block of Hanstead Avenue.

Nicky Dewayne Packard, 33, and 22-year-old Michel Dewayne Sewell were with a group of men who had just left a party when an argument escalated into gunfire, officials said.

An unidentified suspect shot both men in the upper torsos. Packard and Sewell were pronounced dead at the scene.
