Escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and enjoy a few hours of escape at Sunset Ranch Hollywood. Well, it’s actually quite close to the city, but you’ll be enjoying the fun, outdoorsy activities so much that you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of the big city, even though you are still right there.
One of the best ways to enjoy Sunset Ranch Hollywood is to take one of the guided horseback tours from the hills at Griffith Park. You’ll enjoy a one or two hour ride as you take in some of the biggest sights in the city. You’ll ride past the Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Observatory and Downtown Los Angeles, enjoying all the magnificent views from atop a sturdy horse.
If you happen to head out on the third Saturday of any month, you may just get lucky enough to experience a Barbeque Ride. The Barbecue Rides take you on a two hour ride up to the highest point at Griffith Park, which is Mount Hollywood. It is a beautiful panoramic 360 degree view of Los Angeles, perfect for lots of wonderful photo ops. Once the ride is done, you’ll head back to the ranch for a traditional barbeque meal with lots of music and fun.
There are lots of other great rides to be had at Sunset Ranch Hollywood. You can go for a night ride in the Hollywood hills, or a lunch time ride, or even a dinner ride to Viva Fresh Restaurant which is a full four-hour ride that takes you to Viva Fresh Mexican Restaurant in Burbank for a wonderful dinner. Or, if you are new to the world of horseback riding, then book a lesson or two from one of the private instructors. Perfect for kids or anyone looking to learn more about general horsemanship and riding.
This fun destination is made even more fun by setting out in the 2013 GL450 4Matic SUV from Mercedes-Benz of Encino. You’ll love cruising down the highway in total comfort as you enjoy the opulence and luxury that only comes with a Mercedes-Benz. Plus, there is plenty of room for the whole family and maybe even a few friends that want to come for this fun day.
