Garden Grove Man, 52, Arrested For Fatal Shooting Of Neighbor

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — A long running neighborhood dispute led to the fatal shooting of a Garden Grove man Friday, police said.

Robert Joseph Price, 52, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. for the murder of his 53-year-old neighbor, Glen Ray Berry, according to authorities.

The shooting occurred in the 12600 block of Poplar Street.

Upon arrival, officers contacted Price who told them he had just been involved in a shooting and directed them to Berry's body, Lt. Ted Peaslee said.

Berry was pronounced dead on the scene.

"At this point in time, it appears that Price and Berry had been involved in a long running neighborhood dispute. The dispute led to a confrontation on today's date, which ultimately ended in a shooting," Lt. Peaslee said.

Officials did not release details related to the dispute.

No one else was injured in the incident and there are no outstanding suspects, according to authorities.
