1 Suspect In Custody, 2 At Large In Westmount Deputy-Involved Shooting

WESTMOUNT (CBSLA.com) — One suspect was shot and wounded and two others are at large in an deputy-involved shooting in Westmount Friday.

The shooting took place around 9:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 102nd Street in an unincorporated section of Los Angeles.

Officials said they shot one male suspect and have him in custody. They said two additional suspects were outstanding.

Gil Leyvas, reporting in Sky9, said the suspect who was shot was taken to Centinela Hospital. The suspect's condition is unknown.

The deputy-involved shooting reportedly followed a chase. It was unknown what the suspects were wanted for.

No deputies were reported injured.

There is no additional information at this time, said deputies.
