Set out for another wonderful drive and enjoy the beautiful California weather. As you consider different destinations for your drive, there is one fun spot that should definitely be on your to-visit list. The Museum of Making Music is a fascinating museum that has been displaying hundreds of vintage instruments, video and audio clips and a great interactive area, sure to delight music-lovers of all ages. Plus, this museum is located about an hour and a half south of Los Angeles, and you can enjoy a truly scenic drive along the coast as you head to your destination.

You’ll set out along Interstate 5 South as you head towards the Museum of Music Making. Once you arrive, you’ll get to explore five different galleries, all dedicated to exploring the history of music making from the 1890’s until today. Each gallery uses examples of the popular music of the time to help explain how instruments develop, how they are made and how amazing they can truly sound. You’ll learn all about the different genres of music through each era, and you’ll get to see the evolving world of making a musical instrument. You’ll even get to play some for yourself. You will also get a look at the distribution of instruments, with a look into music stores and retail, to see how music gets into the hands of students and masters all over the world. Make sure to spend some time in the interactive area so you can check out lots of different instruments and possibly discover your own hidden skills.

For this fun drive, you’ll want to make the trip just as exciting as the destination, so be sure to set out in the 2013 E550 Sport Sedan from Mercedes-Benz of Encino. This fantastic sedan is the best way to enjoy the scenic drive along I-5 as you head towards the Museum of Music Making. You can enjoy the opulence and class that you get with the Mercedes-Benz as you ride in total comfort and enjoy the panoramic views.
