Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 17)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Temperatures are warming slightly today with a thinner marine layer and the trough along the West Coast flattening out a bit.

At the surface, we have a northerly flow that has prompted the NWS to issue an advisory. It started last night and will run through early Tuesday. Daytime highs should hover just above average for this time of year.

By Wednesday, a trough along the West Coast intensifies and cools things off. The marine layer will return and we will back into the June Gloom pattern through Friday.

Basin - upper 70s to low 80s

Beaches - mid 70s

Valleys - upper 80s

Mountains - mid 70s

Deserts - low 90s
