With all the amazing beaches in Southern California, it is very easy to forget about the beautiful mountains and all the fun spots for camping and hiking throughout the area. The campground at Cedar Falls is a beautiful area and you’ll enjoy exploring the area or just participating in the family-style of this wonderful campground escape.
The Camp Ceder Falls Campground is owned and operated by the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, and it is a Christian Group Campground, but it is open to anyone, and you can enjoy the beauty of the campground regardless of religion, so don’t be shy when thinking about exploring the camp.
The camp requires a two-night stay with four meals when you stay at the lodge, making it perfect for a group of friends, or a scout troupe, or any other youth group you may be associated with. Since this is a Seventh-day Adventist camp, all the meals are lacto-ovo vegetarian and no caffeinated drinks are served, and having all of the meals handled while you are camping, certainly helps you enjoy the rest of your time there on your own. You can also take advantage of the ropes course and team-building offered by Lodestone Adventures, making this trip even more fun and a great addition to any youth group activity.
However, the best thing to do at this camp is really just set out for a hike and enjoy the stunning beauty that surrounds you. At 6,000 feet above sea level, you’ll love all the majestic trees and rocky terrain that make up the campground, plus all the other fun activities located on the grounds. Bring your camera and make sure to snap lots of wonderful photos of your memorable trip.
Want to make this trip even more memorable? Then be sure to set out in the 2013 ML63 AMG SUV from Mercedes-Benz of Encino. You’ll have all the room you need to transport all the gear plus the whole family or all the kids in the group. It’s the perfect way to transport everyone safely and with total comfort and luxury only available through Mercedes-Benz.
