Dairy Farm Worker, 28, Killed After He's Crushed By Cows

ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — The San Bernardino County Coroner reports the death of a man who was crushed by cows Saturday morning.

Winston Perez, 28, was working on a dairy farm just after 5 a.m. when he apparently got stuck between some cows and a fence.

Perez was moving the cows into a paddock when he was crushed.

The victim -- a Riverside resident -- was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where authorities said he underwent surgery to repair severe internal injuries.

The coroner says Perez died in the hospital's ICU at 4:36 p.m. with his family by his side.
