SUN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Two firefighters were stung by bees Saturday when they tried to put out a blaze in Sun Valley.
Officials said some brush and some bee hives caught fire in La Tuna Canyon Park.
A bee keeper suffered burns to his face and arm and was taken to a hospital in fair condition.
Firefighters kept the blaze to a half an acre.
The two firefighters were treated at the scene for their stings.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
