STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Plastic and reconstructive surgeon and co-host of ‘The Doctors’, Andrew Ordon, MD, FACS, stopped by KCAL9 Thursday to discuss his recent trip to Amman, Jordan.

Ordon and a team of six surgeons from the USC Division of Plastic Surgery, in conjunction with the Children of War Foundation, traveled to Jordan from May 31 to June 8 to provide surgical aid to 30 patients, including young war victims.

Children of War Foundation‘s mission is to provide access to donated transformative surgical care to children living with a physical deformity or injuries that cannot be treated in their home country.

The organization requests endowments and donations to provide the funding required for comprehensive surgical management for children regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality or religion.
