Lawry's Rolls Back Prices To Celebrates 75 Years In Business

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Lawry's celebrated 75 years in business Tuesday by rolling back prices to 1938!

The Beverly Hills restaurant, located at 100 N. La Cienega Boulevard, is hosting a one-day price rollback event featuring prime rib for only $1.25.

Eager beef lovers lined up outside the eatery overnight in anticipation.

Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., 1,000 customers will enjoy a prime rib dinner including the original Lawry's Cut, a Spinning Bowl Salad, mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding.

All proceeds from the rollback event will be donated to AbilityFirst-one of Southern California's largest and oldest nonprofit organizations benefiting children and adults with disabilities. The charity was established by Lawry's founder Lawrence L. Frank in 1926.

Guests can also choose to donate a portion of their savings from the event to this charity.
