Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 10)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Back to work Monday morning and we are back in the low cloud cover.

The high pressure that brought scorching temperatures to our interior valleys has drifted to the east.  The cut-off low that was hanging off-shore for most of last week is finally on the move.

With the June Gloom this morning look for a couple degrees of cooling today, highs in the mid 70s in the basin to low 80s for our valleys.  Deserts should be comfortable.

Tomorrow there is a brief ridge that bumps into the area, so we will see temperatures rise a few degrees.  But, it is short lived as a broad trough sets up along the west coast for the rest of the week and into the weekend bringing back that broken record forecast of clouds in the morning and sunshine for the afternoon.

Basin -mid 70s

Beaches - upper 60s to low 70s

Valleys - low 80s

Mountains - upper 60s

Deserts -upper 80s to low 90s
