Blackhawks Beat LA Kings In Double OT, 4-3

CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Blackhawks beat the L.A. Kings in double OT Saturday night, 4-3.

The Blackhawks led the series 3-1 before the nail-biting win.

Patrick Kane gave Chicago a 3-2 lead with 3:52 left in regulation. But Mike Richards scored on a deflection with just 9.4 seconds left in the game to tie it at 3.

The defending Stanley Cup champion Kings will have to wait until next year.

The Blackhawks advance to play Boston in what would be the first Original Six Stanley Cup final since 1979.
