Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 7)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Low clouds again this morning. We will see some hazy sunshine this afternoon.
Temperatures will hover in the 70s in the basin, but it will be quite warm in the high desert.
We have a relatively complicated weather setup resulting in a very boring forecast.
There is a cut-off low lumbering off shore, and it will eventually move inland by Sunday. But that low is helping most of the metro area to stay cool.
Surrounding that low is an elongated high pressure ridge which is keeping the outlying areas to the north and to the east very warm.
High deserts will top out in the 100s today and tomorrow. There will be some cooling once that low moves through.
For the rest of us, even with some warmer temperatures on Saturday it's still going to be pretty comfortable even in the San Fernando Valley, the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire.
Basin -mid 70s
Beaches - low 70s
Valleys - mid 80s
Mountains - upper 70s
Deserts -upper 90s
