Deputies Search For Armed Would-Be Carjacking Suspects
WEST ATHENS (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's Deputies are on the hunt for two male adults they say opened fire upon a motorist they unsuccessfully tried to carjack in West Athens.
Officials described the suspect as two male adults in their early 20s.
The victim nor his vehicle were struck by the gunfire.
The incident occurred Wednesday, about 2:30 p.m., near the intersection of 112th Street and New Hampshire Avenue in the unincorporated West Athens area of Los Angeles.
The suspects were last seen driving eastbound on Imperial Highway near Vermont Avenue in a red vehicle.
