Camarillo HS Associate Principal Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Staff Member, Student

CAMARILLO (CBSLA.com) — An associate principal at Camarillo High School has been accused of inappropriately touching an underage female student, along with a female staff member.

Felix "David" Gallegos, 41, was arrested Wednesday and charged with four misdemeanor counts of child molestation and one misdemeanor count of sexual battery.  He remains jailed on $30,000 bail.

Both victims claimed Gallegos had sexual contact with them while on campus.

School officials learned of the allegations against Gallegos May 20. They immediately placed the suspect on administrative leave and reported the information to Camarillo police.

The females said they didn't know the other had been victimized until the crimes were reported, authorities said.

Anyone with information about the alleged incidents was asked to contact Det. Greg Guilin of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department at (805) 384-4725.
