Amber Alert Issued For Girl, 2, Reportedly Taken By Father From OC Hotel

PLACENTIA (CBSLA.com) — An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday morning after a toddler was reportedly kidnapped by her father from an Orange County hotel.

Placentia police received a call at 4:17 a.m. that 2-year-old girl was taken from a Best Western Hotel in the 100 block of Orangethorpe Avenue near the the Orange (57) Freeway.

The 35-year-old suspect took his daughter following a domestic dispute and threatened to take her over the state line, officials said.

The toddler was found safe with her father in Anaheim around 11:30 a.m. He was taken into custody.
