3 Suspects Arrested In Fatal Corona Shooting

CORONA (CBSLA.com) – A Corona man was fatally shot Wednesday during an alleged confrontation with two men and a boy in a sports utility vehicle.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired around 3:25 p.m. in the area of McKinley Street and Griffin Way, according to Corona police Sgt. Kim Velasco.

Authorities found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Velasco.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The three suspects fled the scene, but were taken into custody without incident after a short pursuit.

The circumstances of the shooting were unknown.
