Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 4)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The on-shore flow is still in place this morning and that means another round of thick low clouds with patchy drizzle.

We should get the same type of clearing through the day.

Temperatures will be hovering just below seasonal averages with highs in the low to mid 70s in the basin and near 80 degrees in the valleys.

Expect some gusty winds this afternoon and there is a possibility those wind speeds could reach advisory levels.

The rest of the week will bring us some slight warming, but still the same regime of clouds in the morning and hazy sunshine in the afternoon.

By the weekend get ready for a warm up.  A ridge of high pressure is going to nudge into the Great Basin on Saturday so look for highs in the upper 90s to near 100 for the interior valleys.

Basin - mid 70s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - low 80s

Mountains - low 70s

Deserts -low 90s
